About the event
What: The 2020 (virtual) EKISC AGM will include a brief overview of 2019 operational activities, an update on 2020 field and outreach programming, as well as our annual Business Meeting (including a financial update and Board of Directors Election).
We are also pleased to announce that ISCBC's Dave Ralph will be delivering a short presentation on the successes and challenges of fall herbicide application. Dave has worked extensively with land managers and the agriculture industry in developing invasive plant management strategies and carrying out research for invasive plant control and management recommendations for pasture, range and intensive crop production.
Who should attend?: Anyone can attend! We encourage all of our members, project partners, regional and provincial stakeholders and any members of the general public to attend and learn more about invasive species management in the RDEK.
Those who attend will be sent a small token of our appreciation, and entered to win door prizes!
When: October 7, 2020 at 1:00pm (MST)
How: In addition to the many project funders and collaborators that make EKISC programming possible, EKISC's AGM is generously supported by Teck Resources Ltd.

ABOUT DAVE RALPH
Presentation: ‘Considerations for Timing of Fall Herbicide Application for the Control of Invasive Plant Species‘
Dave joined the Council in May 2015. He has worked extensively with land managers and the agriculture industry in developing invasive plant management strategies and carrying out research for invasive plant control and management recommendations for pasture, range and intensive crop production. His current role with the Council is training and project coordination. Dave, his wife and son live in Kamloops where they enjoy the seasonal outdoor recreational activities.
