About The Event

Plant ID Field Workshop with Jessie Paloposki

Invasive plants have had devastating impacts on the native ecology of many natural areas and is one of the greatest threats to biodiversity in our world today. Join Jessie to gain hands-on experience identifying invasive plants in the field. If time permits, she will also demonstrate invasive plant removal and disposal methods. Participants will take home an invasive plant ID booklet but are also encouraged to bring along a camera or a plant press and make a field guide of their own.
